A bundle of energy and excitement has hit the PAC-12 recently as Sarah Gates has assumed the position of PAC-12 Conference Representative representing the Wuerffel Trophy.  She has hit the ground running being the first to insure the PAC-12 universities are represented in the 2017 Wuerffel Trophy Watch List, to be released July 18.

Fresh off receiving her Masters Degree in Sports Management from Florida State University, Gates has represented the Wuerffel Trophy as a conference representative in the Big 12 Conference for the last 2 years, securing nominations from 9 of the 10 universities both years. Because of her infectious positive attitude and willingness to serve others, she has become a favorite in sports information offices around the country.

In addition to interning for the Wuerffel Trophy, she has served in the same capacity with the Biletnikoff Award (2011-16) and the Rose Bowl (2016-17).  She is currently employed in Los Angeles by UCLA as Event Production Manager in Cultural and Recreational Affairs.
